This all-in-one starter kit includes gentle puppy-safe shampoo, detangling spray, and small slicker brush—everything you need to establish positive grooming routines from day one. Perfect for first-time puppy parents, this kit takes the guesswork out of grooming while saving 25% compared to buying items separately.
What should be in a puppy grooming starter kit?
A comprehensive puppy grooming starter kit should include essentials for bathing and brushing. Starting early with proper grooming tools helps puppies develop tolerance and makes future grooming sessions easier. Our kit includes three must-haves: tearless puppy shampoo for gentle cleaning, detangler spray to prevent mats, and a small slicker brush sized perfectly for puppy coats. Having the right tools from day one helps build positive associations with grooming that last a lifetime.
Is this grooming kit safe for young puppies with sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our puppy shampoo features a tearless, hypoallergenic formula specifically pH-balanced for delicate puppy skin. Made with USDA Certified Organic Oatmeal Extract, Lavender Oil, Chamomile, and Calendula, the gentle formula cleans without irritation. The detangler spray uses the same safe, natural ingredients. The small slicker brush features fine, gentle bristles with rounded tips that won't scratch sensitive skin, perfect for puppies 12 weeks and older.
How does this kit help prevent matting and tangles?
The system works together to keep puppy coats tangle-free. After bathing with puppy shampoo, spray detangler onto damp or dry coat before brushing. The detangler creates slip that allows the slicker brush to glide through fur easily, removing loose hair and preventing knots. Regular brushing helps Doodle puppies avoid painful mats that develop when tangles aren't addressed early.
