Extra Small Slicker Brush for Dogs: Gentle Grooming for Puppies & Small Breeds – We Love Doodles

Looking for the best slicker brush for your puppy or small dog? Our extra small slicker brush is engineered for delicate coats and sensitive skin. With 1-inch professional-grade pins angled at 45 degrees, it removes tangles, mats, and loose fur without pulling or scratching making it ideal for Goldendoodles, Poodles, Labradoodles, and other small long-haired breeds.

Why an Extra Small Slicker Brush?

Small dogs and puppies need grooming tools designed specifically for their size and coat type. A full-sized brush can be awkward to maneuver around a tiny pup's face, ears, and paws, and may even irritate sensitive puppy skin. Our extra small slicker brush gives you precise control while being gentle enough for young or anxious dogs.

Professional Grooming Without the Price Tag

What makes this different from basic dog brushes? The long, fine bristles glide through dense and curly coats with minimal resistance, removing mats and tangles in fewer strokes. You'll spend less time fighting knots and more time bonding with your pup during grooming sessions.

Designed for Doodles and Curly Coats

If you have a Goldendoodle, Labradoodle, Poodle, or any curly-haired breed, this slicker brush was built with you in mind. Curly coats are prone to matting—especially behind the ears, under the armpits, and around the tail. Regular brushing with our extra small slicker prevents these problem areas from becoming painful mats that require expensive professional grooming or painful removal.

Key Benefits

Prevents matting before it starts. Daily or weekly brushing catches tangles early, keeping your puppy or small dog's coat healthy and mat-free.

Soft, angled pins protect sensitive skin. Each 1-inch pin is angled at 45 degrees to lift and detangle without scratching or irritating delicate puppy skin or sensitive areas.

Reduces shedding and loose fur. Regular brushing removes excess hair before it ends up on your clothes, furniture, and floors.

Easier grooming sessions. The right tool makes grooming faster and less stressful for both you and your pup, building a positive grooming routine from puppyhood.

Leaves coats soft and shiny. Consistent brushing distributes natural oils and improves coat texture, health, and appearance.

Perfect for Small Breeds and Puppies

This extra small brush is ideal for toy breeds, small doodles, puppies, and any dog under 25 pounds. The compact design fits comfortably in your hand and reaches delicate areas other brushes miss.
